Ambry Genetics needed a consultative 3rd party sales & management recruiting partner to be an extension of their team to assist with locating, interviewing, recruiting, and hiring sales professionals throughout the United States to meet tight product launch deadlines and get in front of their competition.

Obstacles

When we kicked off the project, there was no formalized standard recruiting and interviewing process at Ambry Genetics. Ambry Genetics had not yet defined their ideal candidate profile based on the available budgeted compensation. Deadlines to hire were extremely tight, from being assigned a search to needing the candidate to be officially started in order to meet product launch and training class deadlines.

The Outcome

Kester Search Group involved multiple stakeholders over several months to design Ambry's entire recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding process which was successfully executed upon by KSG, Ambry's Sales Leadership Team, and Ambry's HR Team. Kester Search Group as Ambry Genetic's exclusive sales & management recruiting partner helped Ambry grow from approximately 5 to over 75 outside sales reps across multiple divisions equating to revenue growth from $20M to nearly $250M eventually leading to a $1B exit via the acquisition of Ambry Genetics by Konica Minolta.
